A few years ago the TV series "Mythbusters" proved that a cannonball passing though a ship wooden wall could not shower people down range with deadly splinter of wood. Of course, even after the show aired, Age of Sail students still disagreed with the TV show, just maybe they had seen this video,"USS Niagara Live Fire Demonstration" Courtesy of You Tube and Uss Niagara.org.
